Judith Tannenbaum – Blue Flame

The sky is blue flame and all you want
is to ride that river pressed against your eyes.
Even hearts in harbor know how to sing and dance.
So sing.
Run with the pulse of love that beats behind your eyes.
Run up the hillside–forget-me-nots and white daisies.
Remember the drought in Mozambique,
don’t forget the dying.
But run with that pulse.
Sing praise.
