this computer is an ancient steaming swampbed
the jagged cry of a pterodactyl
careening through violet twilight
extinction in her plastic bones

this computer steals power from river
salmon gasp gills shuddering
always thirsty for the fire in her blood

the devil requests music
shall we dance?
